A safari&beach family holiday works perfectly over the summer or Christmas holidays, but is also totally do-able over February or October half term. Travel from the UK to Africa means no jet lag so you are on holiday as soon as you land. For those with an extended October half-term, adding a couple of extra days on safari and a few more days on the beach is a great option too.
