Well located on a beautiful stretch of beach at Diani, The Sands is a lovely resort, clevery laid out to give the impression of a boutique style hotel.
The Sands at Nomad is a wonderful small resort with fantastic lateral width along Diani Beach. The hotel has just been refurbished making the rooms lighter and with a more modern swahili / italian design.
The hotel has a variety of room types, starting in price with the 10 sea breeze double/twin rooms, 3 ocean view suites, 3 ocean view family suites, 3 ocean view superior suites with hot tub, 7 more private thatched beach cottages and superior beach cottage suite and villa. The hotel is therefore suited to couples, families and groups travelling together.
At Sands there is a central pool area adjacent to reception, lounge/library and spa facility. The sea front bar and restaurant is fun and of a good quality with a real beach feel.
Sands gives the option of a beach flop or as many activities as you wish to take on. There is certainly something for everyone here and, with the recent modernisation as well as lying on such a beautiful stretch of beach, it has become an S&B true favourite.
