Singita Sweni

Singita Sweni is the most recent addition to this collection of luxury lodges and camps. Singita Sweni is nestled in and amongst hundreds of trees at the edge of the Sweni River. In this tranquil and intimate hideaway, the decks of the lodge seem to hover amongst the branches whilst inside, rich colours and textures blend into the natuaral forested surroundings.

With it’s close proximity to the river, guests are treated to really close and personal sightings of an incredible range and number of animals and birds which come down to drink from the river. You never really know what might appear next!

The lodge offers 6 one bedroom suites each beautifully designed using wood, glass and steel and appointed to the highest of standards.  In the main lodge you will find a lounge area which feels harmonious with the forested surroundings and its here you can relax in the soft cosy chairs, read a book by the fire or if you prefer you can catch some sun relaxing on the sun loungers which surround the swimming pool.

The lodge offers gym & spa as well as a television in their Boutique & Gallery.  Common areas are shared with neighbouring sister lodge, Singita Lebombo.

Children of all ages are welcome, as well as baby sitting services available and tailor made safari activities to suit each family.   Children would be accomodated on an extra bed in the same suite as the parents.

Apart from the open sided 4×4 game drives, guided safari walks (not suitable for children under 12yrs), mountain biking and archery are available with a guide.

Singita Sweni is beautiful and one of the most sought after game lodges in Africa.  However, perhaps best visited in combination with one of the sister Sabi Sand Lodges and/or a second visit safari to the Singita collection of lodges.
