Singita Lebombo Lodge

Like being perched atop an eagle’s nest, Lebombo Lodge looks out across the landscape from its rugged cliff edge position.

Sitting in the private Singita reserve of 135 KM2, in the eastern part of the Kruger, shared only with its sister property Singita Sweni, you feel spoilt for space and luxury.

This boldly dramatic lodge is home to 15 loft styled suites and is imaginatively built using wood, steel, glass and rock to create an organic feel. With it’s incredibly stylish interiors, Lebombo is one of the most astonishing and luxurious lodges in South Africa.

There is a swimming pool in the main lodge area and spa and gym facilities are available (shared with Sweni). A television is also available in the main lodge area. There is complimentry wifi across the lodge.

A typical days safari will include an early morning wake up call followed by a dawn breaking game drive where you will head out to look for the Big Five.  You’ll return to the lodge for breakfast, after which most guests will either arrange for some spa treatment or relax in their rooms by their own plunge pools till lunch time.  After lunch, you can return to the pool or enjoy a siesta before being served afternoon tea and then you will head out on your afternoon game drive which finishes after dark, returning to the lodge in time for freshen up and evening dinner.

Children 10yrs and older are welcome at Lebombo Lodge.  Certan safari activities may be at the discretion of your guide for children.

Apart from the open sided 4×4 game drives, guided safari walks (not suitable for children under 12yrs), mountain biking and archery are available with a guide.

If you are looking for a one of the most luxurious big 5 game safari experiences, then Lebombo is defintely the place to head. It is however best combined with a stay at Ebony or Boulders Lodge. Early booking is essential as these properties, despite their cost, are always in high demand.
