Ngare Sero Mountain Lodge conservancy is a delightful homestead on the outskirts of Arusha with fantastic views of Mount Kilimanjaro. The lodge is actually one of the oldest family lodges in Arusha, run by the Leach family, with very much a colonial feel. Activity tends to centre round the main house with restaurant and bar with the lodge grounds offering plenty of space for relaxation. For those seeking a little more exertion, nature walks in the adjacent forest or around the clear lake, are on offer alongside bird watching, horse riding, boating, yoga, mountain biking or even croquet on the lawn.
Ngare Sero offers varying types of accommodation with rooms in the main manor house, summit suite, garden rooms plus the farm cottage giving plenty of choice for couples and families alike. Rooms in the main house are equipped with king size beds and separate lounge areas, en suites and spacious verandas. The summit suite above comprises double bed, living room and 2 additional self contained bedrooms. Alongside the gardens are 10 further rooms available as king size or twin with en suites and terrace. The seperate farm cottage, behind, with 2 bedrooms makes it an ideal family unit.
