Little Ongava is a very intimate and luxurious lodge perched on the crest of a hill in the private Ongava Game Reserve which adjoins the southern boundary of Etosha National Park.
Little Ongave is a very exclusive lodge, with unrivalled privacy in only three spacious, private and luxurious suite units. Each suite has its own own plunge pool and ‘sala’ and the en suite bathrooms have an indoor and outdoor shower as well as a “bath with a view”.
Each suite, the dining and lounge area have wonderful views of the waterhole below the camp and the latter lends itself to relaxed, stylish dining under an African sky or under thatch.
Guests share a dedicated guide and Land Rover. Day and night wildlife-viewing drives, visits to hides that overlook waterholes, and walks with experienced guides can all be enjoyed exclusively on this reserve.
A highlight at Ongava is that it is one of the few private game reserves in southern Africa where there is a chance to see both black and white rhino. For those who enjoy close wildlife encounters, tracking white rhino on foot with a guide is a highlight not to be missed.
Game drives and daytrips into Etosha National Park are also rewarding, potentially with sightings of lion, elephant, gemsbok, springbok, red hartebeest, and white and black rhino.
