The hotel blends seamlessly into the bountiful nature of the Domaine de Bel Ombre on the south coast of Mauritius, bordered by the stunning blue green ocean and glorious African sunsets. The Domaine de Bel Ombre is also home to Heritage Le Telfair, Heritage Villas, the C Beach Club and the Heritage Golf Club.  All of the facilities are available to guests at Heritage Awali, though some may be charged.

The 154 Deluxe Rooms, 5 Senior Suites and Villa of the resort welcome you in an ethnic African atmosphere with refined interiors.  There is everything in the spacious rooms and suites for a comfortable and restful stay: air-conditioning, ceiling fan, bathroom with separate tub and shower, hairdryer, electronic safe, mini-bar, flat screen TV with satellite channels, analogue modem Internet connection, and telephone line with international direct dialling. In addition, tea and coffee making facilities as well as a laundry service and 24hr room service are available.

The rooms are divided into ochre-coloured adobe pavilions with thatched roofs and all open onto a pleasant private terrace, close to the two infinity pools and the kilometre-long white sandy beach. Cosy and refined, the Villa features a terrace, a private pool and a gazebo in the garden.
