The Hansa Hotel is Swakopmund’s oldest and most traditional hotel which, in 2005, celebrated it’s centenary. The hotel offers four star international standards with all the amenities and service you would expect.
The Hansa Hotel has a very convenient location in the centre of Swakopmund providing access to all the shops, restaurants and bars. The hotel maintains a high standard of hospitality which has not changed over the years.
The 58 ensuite rooms are all well appointed with double or twin beds, underfloor heating, satelitte TV, direct dial telephone, hair-dryer, safe and coffee / tea facilities. They also run a very smooth and efficient laundry service which is appreciated when just stopping in town for a night or two.
The hotel has two restaurants, the “Terrace” which is set up for lunch within the inner gardens and the more formal “main” dining room which is open for breakfast and dinner. The hotel takes great pride in its extensive winelist.
The Hansa Hotel is really quite dated in terms of decor but it is well maintained and clean with a strong German feel.
