Ruaha National Park is one of our favourite wildlife locations anywhere – it is wild and pristine, with quality small camps and far from anywhere. Game drives here are exquisite as there is an abundance of wildlife, especially cats, elephant and birdlife, but you will see very few other vehicles. Ruaha is very special, making it popular for romantic trips and combines easily with Zanzibar and nearby islands.
Ruaha is particularly strong for big game and predator sightings. You can expect to see large herds of elephant, buffalo, giraffe and plains game, as well as lion, leopard and wild dog.
