Kuyenda Camp

Kuyenda Camp is one of six intimate and exclusive bush camps operated by the Bushcamp Company in the unspoilt wilderness of South Luangwa National Parks remote and undeveloped southern sector.

Kuyenda Camp is an old style bushcamp nestled amongst shady trees on the banks of the Manzi River.

Accommodation is in 4 authentic and rustic thatched rondavel chalets. Each chalet contains a large spacious bed, mosquito netting and en-suite facilities including shower, toilet and wash basin.

The central dining area, lounge and bar is a simple thatched building with a large dining table, small library and deck-chairs overlooking the grassy plain which hosts an abundance of wildlife. There is also a camp-fire set up which is always a relaxing place for drinks and chat in the evenings.

Run by renowned safari guide Phil Berry, one of the valleys most experienced guides. Whether you choose walking safaris, day and night game drives or combination of both, Phil’s knowledge and years of experience will guarantee you one of the best safaris ever and a true African experience.

All the Bushcamp Company’s camps are within walking distance of each other, allowing you to choose, to experience each camp individually, walk through the park by day and camp at a new location at night or to relax for the entire duration of your stay in the camp of your choice.
