‘Heaven’ in Kigali is a stylish development that includes Heaven Restaurant, Heaven Boutique Hotel, and most recently, The Retreat and Fusion Restaurant.
Heaven is a super place to stay in the heart of Kigali, with easy access to the airport. The excellent Heaven Restaurant is located alongside Heaven Boutique Hotel, while The Retreat is the city’s newest luxury boutique hotel where you will also find Fusion Restaurant.
The Heaven Boutique Hotel has 30 rooms that are situated between two buildings, all with simple décor and use of the gardens, pool, yoga facilities and the very good Heaven Restaurant – breakfast here is delicious. This is a great value option and highly recommended over the much larger business hotels at a similar price.
The Retreat is a 20 room luxury eco hotel with the same location and offers really lovely bedrooms, all whitewashed with funky pops of art and great bathrooms. There is a second restaurant here – Fusion Restaurant – that as its name suggests offers Rwandan fusion cuisine.
Heaven started as Rwanda’s first international hospitality training facility and the American owners are passionate about sourcing everything locally and working entirely with the local communities. The project is very personal and you can see that by the care and attention to detail, and the delightful friendly staff.
