Governors Private Camp affords the opportunity for your family or friends to exclusively enjoy a private safari experience. Personal attention is the hallmark of a stay here. Up to 16 people can have exclusive use of this charming camp overlooking a beautiful bend of the Mara River and surrounded by forest, home to some exquisite birds. Enjoy a sundowner with your nearest and dearest while animals come to drink, hippo laze in the shallows and elephant cool off from the heat of the sun.

Tents are of a good standard and have recently been upgraded to sit on raised decks with viewing verandas. En suite facilities include flushing toilets and hot bucket showers. Dining in camp is excellent and the chef takes particular pride in his ‘sinful’ puddings. The team here are knowledgeable, friendly and extremely proficient in creating those extra little touches that make each day special.

Located on the eastern bank of the Mara River, this camp offers a superb tented safari experience for groups of 4 – 16 persons staying for a minimum of 3 nights.
