Constance Ephélia is the largest hotel in the Seychelles and is a destination in itself. Nestled in 120 hectares of pristine tropical jungle, the resort offers two stunning beaches overlooking the Port Launay National Marine Park on the West coast of Mahé. It is stunning.
Within the resort there are 285 rooms, suites and villas, ranging from simple but well-appointed hotel rooms in the gardens, to family villas with pools, to villas with spa rooms included. All are well decorated and couples, families or groups will all find an accommodation to suit their preferences and budget. The Garden rooms are especially good value for the quality offered.
There are five restaurants, five bars, extensive sporting facilities, a Children’s Club, a comprehensive spa, PADI Dive centre and yoga pavilions. It is a big resort, and generally would not be the type of place we recommend, but it is done really well. Constance are one of our favourite hotel chains and do things properly, food is always good and quality is always maintained – so while this hotel is large, it doesn’t feel big when in situ. You never feel crowded, there is always a sun lounger and the service is still personal. We like the variety it offers and for families especially, there is plenty of space and choice.
We recommend Constance Ephélia for a week, either before heading to Praslin or a private island, or as your only Seychelles hotel after a safari.
