Kichwa Tembo is a cool and contemporary camp on the edge of the Mara triangle with easy access to river crossing points in migration season (September). The camp is well situated with far reaching views across the plains and plenty of game wandering in and around the viscinity.
Kichwa Tembo is a relatively large camp but with plenty of guest areas, including a main pool, making it a very comfortable option in the Mara. It will, however, attract children in school holidays so honeymooners may be best advised to travel at different times.
The tented rooms at Kichwa Tembo are spacious and well appointed, all with ensuite showers, and large beds overlooking your private terrace area and all the way to the plains beyond. The suites are a little more comfortable with extra seating area and more modern touches.
