We had the most fantastic time imaginable and the trip exceeded all our expectations. The safari was wonderful and Paul, our guide, was amazing. He was so knowledgeable that we come home well informed not only about the wildlife but also about the life and culture of Tanzania. He was incredibly thoughtful and enabled us to see everything, even spending 3 hours searching for Rhino. We even saw leopards on 2 occasions. We would be extremely grateful if you could pass on our comments to Masai Wanderings as we couldn’t have asked for a better guide. Pongwe Beach was magic. The room was beautiful and the whole atmosphere was wonderful with the views, the sound of the sea and the food. The only slight drawback was the cost of the taxi to get anywhere. We only left the complex once to go out on a dhow which was great fun. If we did it again we’d probably opt for 5 days at Pongwe & 2 in Stonetown. This isn’t a complaint, just an observation.
