Our favourite destinations for a luxury safari and beach honeymoon are Tanzania or Kenya. Safaris in Tanzania tend to be in the northern parks, including Serengeti, Ngorongoro Crater or the Selous Game Reserve in the south. For beach time we recommend the short hop over to Zanzibar where there are some stunning boutique hotels right on the beach and beautiful white sandy beaches they are. Kenya is famed for the Masai Mara which links very well with the Kenya coastline as well as Zanzibar. For a more exclusive safari, Botswana is hard to beat on the luxury stakes, particularly the Okavango Delta, with stunning camps not compromising on modern day luxuries. Or for more variety, South Africa has numerous parks with the added option of Capetown and the Winelands. The islands of the Indian Ocean are also well connected to east and southern Africa for those seeking a more resort style hotel.
