Your own Private Safari

Your safari experience will be as personal as possible with a guide tailored to your party. You will be in a specially crafted safari landrover/landcruiser with pop up roof or open sides for optimum game viewing.

Witness the Great Migration

Possibly the greatest show on earth with the movement of up to a million wildebeest and zebra within the Serengeti/Masai Mara ecosystem, following the same pattern each year in search of fresh grasses.

Your safari guide will meet you at the airport and take you to your lodge in Arusha where you can relax after your flight, swim, sleep and acclimatise.
Enjoy a lazy afternoon to yourself.

Ndovu Tented Lodge, Tarangire

Your safari guide will pick you up at your lodge after breakfast and brief you on your safari en route to Tarangire. Arrive in time for lunch and afternoon game drive.
Spend 2 days exploring Tarangire.
June to October are wonderful months to visit Tarangire when hundreds of elephant migrate to the park. Also spot lion, leopard, giraffe, hippo, plus all kinds of grazing game and varied birdlife.
Retire to your lodge whenever you want to. Relax by the pool with an icy drink enjoying the view.

Rhotia Valley, Ngorongoro

Game drive out of Tarangire and continue to Lake Manyara National Park for game drive and picnic lunch. Lake Manyara is a small and pretty park of woodland leading to the lakeshore.
Travel to the Ngorongoro highlands and to your lodge where you will stay for 2 nights.
The following morning, descend to the crater floor for game drive with picnic lunch. You will be surrounded by prolific wildlife and this is a sensational opportunity for close up photography. Spot the ‘Big Five’ and more.
Return to your lodge where you may choose to visit the Rhotia Valley Children’s Home and see the positive effect of tourism in the community.

Travel to the Serengeti, through the lush highlands to the vast expanse of the Serengeti passing by Oldhuvai and Masai villages.
Spend 2 full days on safari in the Serengeti National Park where you go search of lion, cheetah, leopard, wildebeest, zebra and all other creatures. Enjoy sundowners in the Serengeti before retiring to camp.
Share your day’s events around the campfire before dinner and overnight in camp.

Rise early for a sunrise game drive and bush breakfast.
After a morning game drive, your guide will drop you off at the central Serengeti airstrip for your flight to Zanzibar.

Many thanks for a truly great holiday! Nyerere National Park was a great success as we saw the wild dogs on 2 occasions and some great lion kills. In fact we saw a pride of 10 lion including cubs within 10 mins of landing in the Nyerere National Park! Zanzibar was wonderful! The sunshine hotel was beautiful and the staff were lovely.
