Okavango Delta & Seychelles

A perfect combination of luxury eco safari adventure in the pristine wilderness of the Delta, with the tropical paradise of the Seychelles. This itinerary showcases some of our favourite independent small camps and hotels, all selected for consistently impressing us and our clients. It would work especially well for a honeymoon.

If two weeks away is not enough, there is scope for extending to Chobe, Victoria Falls and/or island hopping in the Seychelles.

Boating Safari

Head out on a boat, mokoro or kayak and enjoy the aquatic displays or gently observe creature’s morning dips or refreshments.

The Stunning Beaches of Zanzibar

There’s nowhere quite like it for the stunning white-white fine sand and turqoise warm sea. Have fun swimming or just chilling on the beach and watching the dhows sail by.

Snorkelling/Diving

Immerse yourself in beautiful waters either beach side or off a boat. There are plenty of places to hire, dip and dive nearby.

Your own Private Safari

Your safari experience will be as personal as possible with a guide tailored to your party. You will be in a specially crafted safari landrover/landcruiser with pop up roof or open sides for optimum game viewing.

Off the Beaten Track

Avoid the crowds and optimise your safari by choosing smaller camps away from mass tourism with top guiding and abundant wildlife.

Track the Big Cats

Spotting any of the big cats whether it be lion, cheetah or leopard is one of the most thrilling aspects of a safari holiday. Tracking them as they hunt adds to the excitement and appreciation of their disposition.

Up close and personal as you step into the wild and feel more active and amongst it. Track footprints and add the ‘small five’ to your tick list.

Machaba Camp, Kwai, Okavango Delta

You will be met on arrival in Maun and then connect onto your scenic safari flight into the Delta and Machaba Camp. You will be met at the airstrip and driven to camp, arriving in time for lunch and your afternoon activity.
Stay 3 nights at Machaba Camp on a fully inclusive basis. The game-rich location borders Moremi and allows for varied game viewing and a very comfortable stay.
Game Viewing activities here are primarily based around exploring the area by open-sided 4×4 Land Rover, though mokoro activities are also possible.

Gomoti Plains Camp, Okavango Delta

Morning game activity before you are dropped off at the Machaba airstrip for your flight to Gomoti Plains Camp. The camp is a short drive from here.
Stay 2 nights at Gomoti Plains Camp on a fully inclusive basis. This is a beautiful camp and complements Machaba perfectly.
Located in a private concession area, the Gomoti flood plains system offers superb water activities, especially mokoro.
On your last morning, you will fly from Gomoti back to Maun for your onwards travel.

Morning activity in the Delta, before you fly to Maun. Connect with Air Botswana to Johannesburg, arriving late afternoon.
Tonight, head to the Southern Sun Hotel at the airport where you can relax before your morning flight to the Seychelles the next day.

Carana Beach, Mahe

Fly directly to the Seychelles, arriving in the evening. Please note that your flight from Jo’Burg to Seychelles is not included in the above cost.
On arrival into Mahe you will be met and transferred by road to Carana Beach, a boutique hotel in a private bay.
Stay 6 nights in an Ocean View Chalet, including your breakfast and dinner.

At the end of your stay, you will travel by private vehicle to the airport for your onward flight.
