Little Moru Camp is a new mobile camp, set up to maintain intimacy and a more genuine safari experience away from the crowds. The camp is superbly located near Moru Kopjes, a prime wilderness area, and only open June-October only, making it extremely popular for those seeking adventure alongside comfort.
The camp is made up of only six tents and caters well for families and couples alike. Having a lower environmental impact, the camp benefits from a more priveleged position than some of the larger camps, with fantastic views across the small plain in front of camp. Guests safari experience starts with their morning cuppa, enjoying the view from their bedside or small terrace. The tents are generous in size with ensuite bathrooms, including a more authentic bucket shower, creating fun chat at bathtime! Later in the day, guests share their safari stories as they enjoy their sundowners round the camp fire before tucking into a well prepared safari dinner in the mess tent.
Little Moru Camp is extremely well run and we have had excellent feedback as guests here seem to feel part of a safari family. The camp is owned by one of our favourite operators in Tanzania, with their larger camp, Naona Moru, very close by.
