A great little bush camp in this remote area of Ruaha. Kigelia is one of the finest in Nomad’s collection of beautiful understated safari camps.
The camp is beautifully kept with all the amenities you need to enjoy camping in the bush, away from the crowds, but with those little luxuries that make this a very comfortable experience. There are only 6 tents so the camp feels very intimate and you really will feel chuffed to have found such a gem. The tents themselves are spacious and nicely furnished with local wood and safari accessories. You will have a refreshing hot bucket shower and flushing loo.
Game viewing starts from your camp step where you can enjoy your morning coffee as the animals awaken (or go back to sleep). You will also have the opportunity for walking as well as vehicular safaris in open sided 4x4s. If you get the chance, head out on a bush breakfast or a sundowner or just enjoy time in camp.
