We are sure many of you who are due to travel to Africa are concerned about your travel plans and keen to know your options. Currently, we are contacting those who are due to travel imminently but we hope to address everyone travelling in the next 60 days as a matter of priority. We also hope to contact those who will be entering their 60 day pre travel period as soon as possible.
The Foreign and Commonwealth Office advice against all non-essential foreign travel has been relaxed today but we are disappointed that Africa has not made the list. We are hopeful this will change since the levels of Covid-19 are so low in many of the African nations. A lot of international flights are still operating and entry regulations for non-residents are being relaxed.
Safari&Beach are monitoring the situation closely with regard to Covid-19 and particularly travel in Africa. The safety and wellbeing of our clients is of paramount importance and we will continually update our response as the latest information is available, including direct advice from the UK Government and supplier policy in Africa. We recommend your checking with the Foreign & Commonweath Office (FCO) and WHO websites who will also offer latest travel advice.
For those seeking to travel in the medium to long term, Africa is certainly open for business and Safari&Beach is keen to support the many causes that benefit from wildlife & conservation tourism.
