Gorilla Trekking in Rwanda followed by safari & beach in Kenya.
A quality itinerary which takes you to Volcanoes National Park in Rwanda in search of Mountain Gorillas, before heading on to Kenya for an authentic under canvas safari in the open plains of the Masai Mara. Finish in style on the Diani coast with a dip in the Indian Ocean.
This trip is very cool and includes some of our favourite boutique hotels and lodges alongside optimum logistics. If you want even more, an extra gorilla trek or hot air balloon ride can be easily added to the itinerary.
Alternative beach destinations would include Zanzibar (quintessential tropical beaches), Mauritius (great for larger all inclusive style resorts), or the Seychelles (good for active stays and island hopping).
Your driver will pick you up from Heaven Boutique Hotel and will give you a guided tour of Kigali before departing the city.
Travel to the Volcanoes National Park where you will stay for 2 nights at Five Volcanoes Boutique Hotel in a Deluxe Room including Full Board.
One gorilla trek in the Volcanoes National Park is included, which starts early morning and usually ends around midday. A second trek is possible before you depart for Kigali on day 4, but is not included.
You will be picked up early and driven to Nairobi Wilson airport for your flight to the Masai Mara,
You will be met at the Mara airstrip and driven to camp, staying for 4 nights at Bascamp Masi Mara, in a Riverside Tent on a Fully Inclusive basis.
Enjoy morning and afternoon game drives in the Masai Mara, plus village visits are also possible, as are wildlife talks or hot air ballooning (both will cost extra).
On your last morning you will be driven to the Mara airstrip for your flight to Diani.
Fly to Ukunda airstrip, where you will be met by your driver and taken to Waterlovers, a sweet boutique beach lodge, right on Diani Beach.
Spend 4 nights here on a Half Board basis, staying a Suite overlooking the gardens, pool and beach.
Enjoy the laid back friendly style here, swim in the ocean and explore the near by area.
At the end of your stay, you will be driven back to Ukunda airport where you will fly back to Nairobi Wilson, then driven across town to Nairobi JKIA airport for your international flight home.
