Giraffe Manor is a bucket list experience for many. Located in the leafy Karen district of Nairobi, within 12 acres of private land, this unique boutique hotel is home to a herd of Rothschild Giraffe who are the star attraction of your stay. The giraffe visit the hotel at breakfast time each day and again in the afternoon, and you can have a close encounter with these gentle and graceful creatures.
Add a night here either before a safari in Kenya or Tanzania, or before you fly home. It always books up very early, often 2 years in advance for peak dates.
Your driver will meet you at either Nairobi airport, and will drive you to Giraffe Manor where you can check in before afternoon tea.
Afternoon giraffe feeding takes place on the terrace. Learn about giraffe and help with their more traditional feeding in the sanctuary.
There is also the opportunity to visit the neighbouring David Sheldrick Elephant Orphanage and even adopt a baby elephant. (Please note that visits are only allowed at 11am each day unless you have already adopted, then afternoon visits may be possible by prior arrangement).
Breakfast the next morning with giraffe feeding. Please note that window tables are extra, as are photographs.
