100 per cent success

17 November 2016 | Jo Jenkins | Tanzania, Safari and Beach News, Kilimanjaro

Safari&Beach conquers Kilimanjaro.  We have a 100% success rate of guests summiting Kilimanjaro.  That’s not bad compared to an average of 48%.  Our MD, Nick Jenkins, submitted in October with a few friends.  He’s now not only one of the most knowledgeable people on climbing Kili but also has first hand experience!  We can’t stress enough the importance of doing Kili with a credible operator, not only for success, but sheer wellbeing.  For those interested in doing a Kili trek, we can organise your own group climb – without pretending to be a charitable organisation.

Jo’s enthusiasm for safari as a child when her parents worked in Zambia, then Kenya. Jo quickly fancied herself as a safari expert and has been a keen game tracker ever since. Although, more recently, she is very keen to trial many of the (more luxurious) beach lodges we now offer.
